- Programming memories only works on the top radio A.
- To disable transmit - TH: The radio supports transmit-inhibit on a per-channel basis. Just set Duplex to "off" in Chirp.
- This radio is not Part 90 or 95 - best to not use it for anything but Part 97 Amateur Radio service.
- Programming cable. The cable with the Prolific USB-serial chip is sometimes problematic. A FTDI cable, such as this one on ebay may work better.
